This is a one-of-a-kind 18k ring handmade using the ancient process of granulation and the pattern following a wavy line with granules of varying dimensions, sort of like the Milky Way! This Milky Way band is almost 3mm wide and is exactly 2.8mm wide.

I have made a mold of this original granulated ring and can cast it in 14k gold and in Sterling silver, so you can order in your size and I will make one special just for you!

Granulation is a controlled fusing process that has been utilized for thousands of years. This unique surface will get more interesting with wear. The components, sheet, wire and granules as well as the round ingot for the setting are all made in my studio all from an 18k gold ingot alloyed from recycled, refined 24k gold. The granules are individually placed with a triple zero brush and fused with a mouth torch.

This ring is made to order for you and can 1 to 3 weeks for me to complete for you depending on how busy I am. I am happy to send you a ring sizing kit if you don’t yet know your size.
