Wide Waves with Sea Foam Fine Silver Granulated Ring

Long curls of silver peppered with tiny granules of silver in a wave pattern all the way around the ring. Handmade for you in the size you request. This 10mm wide band is made with a fusing process called Granulation.

Granulation is a controlled fusing process that has been utilized for thousands of years. This unique surface will get more interesting with wear. I make the granules and prepare the ring by fusing the ring band together with a mouth torch. Then the wires are shaped to the size of the ring and granules are individually placed and fused in a flash. The ring is then given a dark patina and brushed with a brass brush. High Polish on the inside with a comfortable inner edge.
