This beautiful Rainbow Cabochon is bezel-set in fine silver granulation with a sterling silver shank cast from an original wax carved band.

Granulation is a controlled fusing process that has been utilized for thousands of years. This unique surface will get more interesting with wear. The components, sheet, wire and granulesare made in my studio all from a fine silver ingot. The granules are individually placed and fused with a mouth torch.

Top of Ring is 22mm x 19mm and the band is 4mm wide.

Silver rings with stones cannot be resized but I’d be happy to make a similar one for you in another size!
