Granulation is a controlled fusing process that has been utilized for thousands of years! Using a mouth-torch and a steady hand I make the granules in a kiln and place them with a tiny paintbrush before firing them, polishing, setting the stone and riveting the bottom, bezel-set moonstone to the top one and the granulated bail to the center piece.
