Fine Silver Granulated domed Disk with a bezel-set Bluegreen Tourmaline cabochon and light-grey Baroque Pearl. I am making these to order but following the same pattern in the photo. So each fine silver cap is sized and domed to fit the unique pearl chosen for your pendant. I then place the granules and get them ready to fuse. While they are in process, I create the bail and the setting and bezel-set the blue toumaline and put the whole piece together and give it a final polish and clean to get ready to get mailed to you.

Granulation is an ancient fusing process utilized for thousands of years by the Etruscans and Mycenaeans. I use Fine Silver and create tiny granules. I place these granules with a 000 paint brush and then carefully heat using a mouth torch to the point of fusing. Each sphere is connected by a tangent of metal creating a sleek and beautiful surface.

At the request of Instagram followers, this is a more affordable version of my gold granulated Pearl pendants. In order to keep costs down, this bail is large and should slip over about any chain you have, so use your own chain! If you want a chain from me I have offered options of either 18” or 20” sterling chain that can be oxidized to make it peacock black.
