This iolte cabochon is bezel-set in a fine silver granulated disk on a 1.5mm sterling silver cable chain.

Granulation is an ancient fusing process utilized for thousands of years by the Etruscans and Mycenaeans. I melt 999.99% Fine Silver and create tiny granules and wire. I place these wires and granules with a 000 paint brush and then carefully heat using a mouth torch to the point of fusing. Each sphere is connected by a tangent of metal creating a sleek and beautiful surface.
